Technical
Q: How do I properly measure my club?
A:
For woods and irons, the measurement of length
is taken when the club is lying on a horizontal plane and the sole
is set against a 60 degree plane. The length is defined as the distance
from the point of the intersection between the two planes to the
top of the grip. Standard driver length is 45 inches.
Q: How will grip size affect my game?
A: If a grip is too small,
your hands would over release and rotate, which would cause the
ball to draw (right to left on a right handed golfer). If a grip
is too big, your hands would under release and rotate, which would
cause the ball to fade (left to right on a right handed golfer).
Q: How stiff should my shaft be?
A: Shaft stiffness varies by what shaft you actually go with.
Each one of our shaft information pages has swingspeed ranges. Our
experts can tell you exactly what flex to go with on each of the
shafts we offer you ensuring you a perfect fit.
Q: Is your equipment USGA conforming?
A: Everything we sell is USGA
conforming.
Q: Where can I get custom fit?
A:
We do custom fitting over the phone or by our online system.
These sytems are 95% accurate so there is no need to get custom
fit in person. This saves you time and money. In addition
you will be protected by our testdrive program.
Q: Why are your Drivers better than Name Brands?
A: Our drivers are at the edge
of the technological advancements available today:
Cup Face Technology- The cup
face is a superior improvement on how a driver head is produced.
It is an inverted cup, thus known as cup face. The clubface
is all one piece all the way beyond where the crown meets the clubface
and the same on all sides. Most drivers designs weld the clubface
before the crown and soleplate which takes away from the sweet spot
and can also cause a deadhead feeling after long use. With
the cup face you get the largest sweet spot available, Explosive
feel for as long as you own the club, and the most accurate face
reaction of any driver.
Reduced Spin Technology- Backspin and sidespin on a golf ball
will cause two major negative aspects of ball flight, it will reduce
distance and reduce accuracy. To achieve the longest and most
accurate drive you want as little backspin and sidespin on the ball
as possible. Backspin creates resistance to the air to hurt
distance by raising trajectory and stopping roll. Sidespin
reduces accuracy and distance. The ES450 combined with proper
custom fitting reduces backspin and sidespin by up to 40%!
This will result into distance and accuracy that will stun you and
your playing partners. The reduced backspin and sidespin will
cause your ball to carry and roll farther more accurately than you
ever dreamed.
Triple Face Technology- When the driver
makes contact with the ball at impact energy is transferred to the
ball and energy is dispersed. The more energy transferred
to the ball the higher the ball speed and the farther it will travel.
Traditional drivers have anywhere between a 78-84% energy transfer
rate. The ES450 has an amazing 95% energy transfer rate!
This means you will get up to 22% higher ball speeds combined with
proper custom fitting without swinging any harder. This is
accomplished by reflecting the dispersed energy back at the ball
at the moment of impact. The three clubfaces of the ES450
reflect dispersed energy back at the ball to use every swing to
its maximum. Why should you let all that energy go to waste?
Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technology- Variable Face Thickness
(VFT) Technology designed to bring the Coefficient of Restitution
(COR) right to the edge of USGA performance limits. VFT allows
us to reduce the amount of mass in the clubface, freeing weight
that can be positioned elsewhere in the clubhead for extra forgiveness
and solid feel, even on off-center shots. In the ES450, the
amount of titanium used in the face area of the club varies from
heel to toe and from top to bottom based on computer-aided design
and rigorous testing.
100% Beta Titanium- Most drivers only the face is Beta Titanium,
but ours everything from heel to toe, crown to soleplate, hosel
to bore is the highest grade of Beta titanium available. This
will provide you the ultimate in protection, lasting quality, and
performance backed by a lifetime warranty.
Q: How much more distance will I get?
A: There is no preset amount that
you will get from switching to our clubs. Someone using a
much older club will get a more yardage than someone using a newer
club. However, our average customer sees a 25-30 yard increase
in distance and a 20% increase in accuracy.
